Autumn Stapleton, Birth Doula and childbirth educator
My name is Autumn and I’ve spent the last seven years working in clinical research. I graduated from UCF with my Bachelor of Science in 2020 with concentrations in Health sciences, Biomedical sciences and Psychology. After leaving the hospital setting during the onset of Covid and the world essentially was put on halt, I was finally able to slow down and reassess what I wanted to do with my life….. During this time I met my now husband, David, who I married in October 0f 23. Family planning provided me the safe space to figure out what we wanted our future to look like. Having children was always in the cards for us but I didn't know much about birth or what to expect. Interested in knowing more, I discovered birth work, including all the benefits of having a doula for your labor. I fell in love with the work they do and I felt this calling like no other. I want to help people have empowered births and becoming a doula has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
What I Offer
Free Consultations ALWAYS!
First Consultations are via zoom and are always free to you. This consultation will cover things like
- What a birth doula is (and isn’t)
- What your ideal birth looks like
- What your previous pregnancy, labor and births were like
- Ways to support you best
Pregnancy Support
I offer families 1-2 prenatal sessions to discuss your thoughts and wishes for your birth. I'll go over how to create a birth plan you love and ways to advocate for your desires. Additionally, you'll have ongoing virtual support through all four trimesters and 24/7 phone support. I am here and I am available for you any day, any time, and for any reason.
Labor Support
Whether that's in the hospital, a birth center or your home, I am there with a magic bag filled with labor support and care items including things like a Birth ball, birth peanut, comfort cloth and C.U.B.. I am dedicated to providing you all the tools you need to have the birth of your dreams. Want to try something new? I'm your doula!
Post-Partum Care
The fourth trimester is just as important as the first three. It’s the time when families are undergoing a permanent change in dynamics. It’s also when families need the most support. I am there for you during this transition, as early after the birth as you are comfortable with. I can cook, I can clean, or I can take baby off your hands while you get some much needed rest. The possibilities are endless and UP TO YOU!!

I am dedicated to being there for you no matter what that looks like, no shame, no judgement and nothing but total respect towards you and the choices you make. Even if you don't decide to hire me as your doula, I will still be happy to answer your questions or connect you to other doulas in your area.
